“Cyber-attacks are a very relevant threat to small businesses” says Keith Behrendt, IT Solutions Specialist at All Covered and adjunct faculty member at Cleveland State University. Having worked in the tech industry for over 20 years, Behrendt warns small businesses of the dangers of not being properly protected against cyber-threats. “Many businesses cut corners and think that their small size prevents them from being targeted, but it’s actually the opposite.” Small businesses are “easy targets” says Behrendt, and many do not understand the drastic negative impact that a cyber-attack may have on a business.
