Professional Video Editing
Videos work! They’re the simplest way to market your product or service around. Anyone who owns a smartphone has viewed or shared them, but a well produced video will capture more viewers – drawing them into your website & peaking their interest. Through this course on creative editing, students will put together simple elements to produce an emotion-grabbing product that will showcase a client’s product or service, thus drawing in ppotential viewers to becoming actual customers. Students will learn how to produce that unique video with staying power – one that viewers will want to share time & time again – bringing your name to the forefront. Along with the basics of timeline non-linear editing techniques, students will learn how to export their completed project to various formats – to be used on websites, social media & other digital platforms.
16GB SD card and student can bring own camera, or use supplied equipment from CSU
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

- Know the non-linear digital video workflow for editing, with hands-on lessons in video editing on PC or Mac.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.
Corporate, Custom Availability: Can be custom-tailored to the needs of your organization to provide skills your workforce can apply immediately as a corporate training if requested.
No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
