Course Description

Videos have been proven to work best at converting viewers from potential customers into actual clients better than any other digital content. It can be the hook you need to grab viewers – evoke emotions & make your message more powerful. The more polished your video the better! It’s not only about the shooting, but producing a video with compelling content takes some easy organizational skills that will be taught in this course. Students will learn the work flow of making a quality video that will activate emotion & be fun to share – thus drawing more people to your website. Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Know the sequential process of a video project from writing and storyboarding, to lighting & shooting.
  • Have the hands-on experience with lighting, audio & video with either their own equipment or CSU supplied lights, camera & microphone
  • Have creative ideas that can help make your video project top notch.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.

Corporate, Custom Availability: Can be custom-tailored to the needs of your organization to provide skills your workforce can apply immediately as a corporate training if requested.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
