What do all top brands have in common? The ability to connect with the target audience, make a lasting impact and cultivate loyalty relationships. This does not happen by chance, it requires skilled marketers who are able to tap into the minds of the consumer, think as they think and feel as they do. The marketer who understands how, why, what and when people buy is of immense value. This is marketer is able to use both quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate and develop relevant consumer insights that make their brands successful. In this course, participants begin the journey of developing the skillset needed to get into the “hearts, minds and motives” of consumers.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand and describe the role of consumer insights in the advertising planning process.
- Understand and develop the skills needed to generate insights.
- Understand the importance of consumer research to the insight generation process.
- Gather consumer input for the purposes of generating insights
- Generate insights from quantitative and qualitative consumer data.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.
Corporate, Custom Availability: Can be custom-tailored to the needs of your organization to provide skills your workforce can apply immediately as a corporate training if requested.
No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
