CompTIA A+ Certification Test Preparation
The focus of this course is to prepare for the CompTIA A+ certification exam. Topics covered will include all prior A+ Hardware and A+ Software coursework as it relates to the CompTIA A+ certification exams. Students will prepare through simulated practice exams and experiences.
Real- World Application
CompTIA's A+ certification is the industry standard for validating the foundational skills needed by today's computer support technicians and is included in the approved list of certifications to meet DoD Directive
8570.1 requirements. This international vendor-neutral certification requires that you pass two exams: CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam 220-901 and Practical Application Exam 220-902.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will
- Gain the needed knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems
- Cover the essential principles of installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and preventative maintenance on desktop and laptop computers.
- Earn elements of customer service and communication skills necessary to work with clients
- Reinforce course concepts and exam readiness.

All Inclusive: Each course delivered at CSU includes materials, pre-test and post-test, coffee, snacks and convenient, on-site parking. Certification test vouchers are not included.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.
No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
