Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification Prep
According to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a recognized expert in identifying the business needs of an organization in order to determine business solutions and is the key facilitator within an organization, acting as a bridge between the client, stakeholders, and the solution team. Responsible for requirements development and requirements management, CBAPs are competent individuals performing a role that is increasingly recognized as a vital component of any successful project. The CBAP certification process includes demonstrating the experience, knowledge, and competencies of a qualified practitioner of business analysis according to requirements designated by the IIBA. The CBAP certification program is designed for intermediate and senior business analysts. Candidates are not required to be IIBA members in order to take the exam. This training course prepare you for CBAP certification, delving into the role and responsibilities of the business analyst and providing comprehensive training on building, documenting, communicating, and managing requirements.

To take this course there are no requirements. However, to take the exam the requirements are:
Minimum 7500 hours of BA work experience aligned with A Guide to the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide) in the last 10 years
Minimum 900 hours in four of the six knowledge areas
Minimum 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years
Two references from a career manager, client or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) recipient

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify the critical principles, activities, tasks, techniques, and tips described in the BABOK® Guide ver. 2.0.
Anticipate the 4 general types of questions that appear on the exam and learn how to answer them.
Cite the core knowledge areas, their activities, tasks, deliverables, and their relationships.
Measure your ability to successfully complete the exam through sample questions in each knowledge area.
Dissect and understand tricky sample questions through guided discussion after every practice exam.
Develop a personal test prep strategy, employing various test-taking tactics.

Audit option: Students have the option to audit a course they have already attended at no charge within one academic year. Interested students must notify the ProDev office requesting to audit a course a minimum of 10 business days prior to the course start date to ensure there is enough seating. Audit students are responsible for their own parking and lunches. New materials will not be provided.

No refunds will be issued if notification is not received seven business days prior to the first day of class. Registrants who cancel will receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, if we receive written notification a minimum of seven business days prior to the first day of class.
