James (Ace) Gayhart is the Director of Application Development Services at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C), and has over 20 years’ experience writing software professionally.
In his current role, he leads the application development team in software development and application maintenance. Ace also uses his passion for technology and education to teach students ASP.NET Web Programming as an Adjunct Professor at Tri-C.
Prior to working in higher education, Ace worked in the telecommunications industry at a wireless billing company and in the fenestration (door and window manufacturing) industry as a software design engineer.
Ace is a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, Microsoft Technology Associate, and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Ace holds a Master of Science in Information Systems & Technology Management from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kaplan University where he earned first place in the inaugural Basic Computing/Applications Student Competition.
